URBNHUB

Community Advocacy – 2024 in Review

How UrbnHub Listened, Mobilized, and Sparked Change in Kansas City

1. Listening to the Community

Throughout 2024, UrbnHub hosted interviews, surveys, and community conversations across Kansas City to better understand local priorities—from workforce development and housing to public safety and education. These voices helped shape our direction and deepened our connection to the people we serve.

2. From Insight to Action

We turned community feedback into action by sharing key concerns and lived experiences with partner organizations, civic leaders, and local agencies. Through storytelling, community briefs, and data summaries, we helped shape conversations that focused on what Kansas City residents said they needed most—like access to housing, youth programs, neighborhood safety, and digital inclusion.

3.Advocacy in Motion

UrbnHub connects local residents and nonprofits to the people, tools, and platforms they need to take action. In 2024, we helped bridge the gap between community voices and city leaders, service providers, and neighborhood coalitions. These connections supported efforts around economic recovery, resource access, neighborhood safety, and long-term community resilience.

4. Partnership & Influence

UrbnHub focused on connecting grassroots groups, nonprofit organizations, and advocacy networks to amplify community-driven solutions. By facilitating partnerships and hosting civic engagement forums, we ensured that local voices and feedback were brought directly to decision-makers, driving informed conversations and actions across Kansas City.
